Making Tuition Affordable
Your education is one of the most important investments you can make. But, for many students, the cost of education can be a challenging barrier to overcome.
At Heritage College, we’re committed to making our programs affordable and accessible to students from all walks of life. We’re proud to say our diploma and certificate programs are among the most economical on the Canadian Prairies.
We make it easy to support your education. When you sign up for one of our programs, our Admissions Advisors will work with you to develop a financing plan that fits your budget. Our team considers a variety of financial aid solutions and helps walk you through the application processes. We can even help you uncover financial aid options for which you didn’t even realize you qualified!
Our team of Admissions Advisers keep up-to-date with the latest scholarship, grants and funding options available to students in across Canada. Our goal is to ensure you have all the support you need to pay for your tuition and textbooks, as well as general living expenses during your studies.

Financial Options at Heritage College
Heritage College’s certificate and diploma programs are licensed by the Government of Alberta, and eligible for student aid from the governments of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and the Northwest Territories.
The type and amount of financial assistance provided by this program vary based on the college program you’re enrolled in, your personal circumstances, the province you reside in, and other unique factors. Our admissions team has experience working various provincial governments to ensure our students obtain the financial aid they need for their education.

- Accounting and Payroll Administration Diploma Program repayment is over 12 equal payments
- Business Administration & Management Diploma Program repayment is over 10 equal payments
- Addictions & Community Support Worker Certificate Program repayment is over 6 equal payments
- Medical Office Assistant and Unit Clerk Certificate Program repayment is over 6 equal payments
- Pharmacy Assistant Diploma Program repayment is over 4 equal payments
- Retail Administration Certificate Program repayment is over 4 equal payments
Many banks and credit unions across Canada offer special financing options to help students pay for their school tuition. Eligibility, loan amount and interest rate vary among institutions, so check with your local branch to see if you qualify for their loans or lines of credit.
Band funding
If you’re a registered member of a First Nations band or nation, you may be eligible for federal funding, administered through your Band office, to help you pay for your education. We can assist you in navigating this process to ensure you access the support you need.

Scholarships, Grants, and Bursaries
To help finance your education, you can always apply to scholarships and bursaries.
The Government of Alberta maintains an up-to-date list of provincial scholarships, band funding, grants and awards. Our Admissions Advisors are happy to work with you in preparing for any of these you might qualify for during your admissions meeting.
