The Calgary Builds Back Bursary
About
To give back to the city we call home, Heritage College is pleased to announce the Calgary Builds Back Bursary. This bursary is designed to help those whose careers and livelihoods have been impacted by COVID-19. This bursary helps those who have experienced hardship due to COVID-19 afford the career training they need to discover new opportunities in growing industries in the Calgary Metro Area.
The exact amount of this bursary depends on the course length.
- $1,000 for courses less than 9 months in length, such as the Express Pharmacy Assistant Diploma Program or the Express Unit Clerk and Medical Office Assistant Program.
- $2,000 for courses over 9 months in length, such as the Accounting and Payroll Administration Program.

Eligibility
Successful applicants to the Calgary Builds Back Bursary will have to meet the following criteria:
- Must be living in the Calgary Metropolitan Area and be able to provide proof of residency
- Must be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen
- Family income must be $50,000 or less per annum
- Must not be currently enrolled at Heritage Career College
- Must otherwise meet the standard Heritage College admission requirements

Applicants will also be asked to submit a tax return or other proof of income before the bursary is ultimately issued.
