At Heritage College, we’re committed to making our programs affordable and accessible to students from all walks of life. We’re proud to say our diploma and certificate programs are among the most economical on the Canadian Prairies.
We make it easy to support your education. When you sign up for one of our programs, our Admissions Advisors will work with you to develop a financing plan that fits your budget. Our team considers a variety of financial aid solutions and helps walk you through the application processes. We can even help you uncover financial aid options for which you didn’t even realize you qualified!
Our team of Admissions Advisers keep up-to-date with the latest scholarship, grants and funding options available to students in across Canada. Our goal is to ensure you have all the support you need to pay for your tuition and textbooks, as well as general living expenses during your studies.
The following are some of the financing options we consider.
Government Student Loans
Heritage College’s certificate and diploma programs are licensed by the Government of Alberta, and eligible for student aid from the governments of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and the Northwest Territories.
The type and amount of financial assistance provided by this program vary based on the college program you’re enrolled in, your personal circumstances, the province you reside in, and other unique factors. Our admissions team has experience working various provincial governments to ensure our students obtain the financial aid they need for their education.

Interest-Free Financing
Heritage College understands for some students, loans and lines of credit are not an option, be it for financial, cultural or religious reasons.
To accommodate the needs of such students, we are proud to offer an Interest-Free Financing program. This financing program spreads the cost of one of our programs over several months, making it easier to fit into student budgets.
The term of this financing varies based on program length.
- Accounting and Payroll Administration Diploma Program repayment is over 12 equal payments
- Business Administration & Management Diploma Program repayment is over 10 equal payments
- Addictions & Community Support Worker Certificate Program repayment is over 6 equal payments
- Medical Office Assistant and Unit Clerk Certificate Program repayment is over 6 equal payments
- Pharmacy Assistant Diploma Program repayment is over 4 equal payments
- Retail Administration Certificate Program repayment is over 4 equal payments
The first payment is due when students first enroll in in the college. The subsequent payments will be withdrawn at the beginning of every month, until the tuition is paid in full. Students are required to pay the full balance of their tuition before they receive their diploma or certificate.
If you would like to know more about our Interest-Free Financing options, please feel free to contact us for more information.
Bank or Credit Union Financing
Many banks and credit unions across Canada offer special financing options to help students pay for their school tuition. Eligibility, loan amount and interest rate vary among institutions, so check with your local branch to see if you qualify for their loans or lines of credit.
Scholarships and Bursaries
To help finance your education, you can always apply to scholarships and bursaries.
The Government of Alberta maintains an up-to-date list of provincial scholarships, bursaries, grants and awards. Our Admissions Advisors are happy to work with you in preparing for any of these you might qualify for during your admissions meeting.
In addition, we here at Heritage College offers bursaries and grants to our own students. Please check out our Scholarships and Grants page for current opportunities. If you have any questions about Heritage College’s scholarships and grants, please contact us.
